Investeringsfonds Groningen (IFG) has so far invested €29.5 million in the following funds: Carduso Capital (2015), Acquisitiefonds Groningen (2016), G-Force Capital (2017), Pharma Connect Capital (2017), Berk Partners Groeifonds (2018), NextGen Ventures 2 (2020), Borski Fund (2020), Dutch Security Tech Fund (2020), CapitalT (2021), Shared Facilities Capital (2021), and Cottonwood Technologies Fund III (2022). With the investment boost of €21 million, 44 companies in the province of Groningen have been financed, creating 402 jobs. The commitments and investments through IFG have attracted over €150 million in external capital.
Expectations are that the total number of participating interests in companies in the province of Groningen by all funds together will be 50 in 2023, representing around 425 direct jobs in the province of Groningen.
